A Playful Killer Whale Tried To Eat This Guy's Paddleboard And He's Totally Chill About It

NZ man captures incredible footage of his close encounter with an awesome orca.

Luke Reilly was stand-up paddle-boarding off the coast of New Zealand's North Island, when he suddenly realised he had company.

A beautiful orca had swam up to his board and was checking him out.

"He popped up about 10cm away from the back of my board," Reilly told 3NEWS. "I was a bit nervous thinking, 'what's this guy going to do?'"
