Chip and Adele found themselves at Operation Kindness, a no-kill shelter in Texas. Now, they’re just waiting to get adopted together.
Here's Chip, a 5-week-old chihuahua puppy.
His owners surrendered him to the shelter because they "could not care for such a young puppy," said Natalie Buxton, the foster mom to the two little snugglers.
This is Adele, a 4-week-old kitten, a stray kitten found alone without any other family or her mother.
Both came to the shelter on Friday, March 20, so the team decided to pair them together. "They instantly bonded and became sweet friends," said Buxton.
SWEET FRIENDS, INDEED. Chip is "sweet and laid-back," while Adele just loves to climb everything.

The pair will be fostered together for about five weeks until they get all their shots and are old enough to be spayed and neutered.
