This wikiHow will teach you how to connect Slack to your Google Calendar and sync it, which is useful so others in your Slack will know when you're available and when you're busy. Once you have the Google Calendar app installed and synced, you can enter "/gcal today" or "/gcal tomorrow" to see what you have scheduled on your Calendar.

1. Go to https://slack.com/app-pages/google-calendar. You'll need to install Google Calendar to your Slack first, and this is Slack's website for adding the Google Calendar app to your Slack account.
   
2. Click . You'll see it with the Slack icon in Google's colors at the top of the page.
   
   • If you want to connect a shared Google Calendar with Team Events, click Add to Slack at the bottom of the page.
3. Select the workplace you want to connect Google Calendar with. If you don't want to add the Google Calendar app to the Slack workspace, you can change it in the drop-down box in the top right corner of your screen. When you have the workspace selected, click Allow.
   
4. Login with your Google account (if prompted). If you have multiple Google accounts, you will be prompted to select which one to use before continuing.
