How to Make a Bike Wheel Chandelier

  5. Cut a shower curtain rod so that it is about 20 inches long (depending on the height of your ceiling)

  6. Insert end of the pendant light through the hub.

    • Pull the wire until the bulb socket reaches the end of the hub.

  7. Insert the end of the wire into the pre-cut shower curtain rod.

    • Position the curtain rod on the center of the bike rim.

  8. Make a knot (wire) on the end of the rod to secure the wire. This will prevent the parts from moving out of position when the chandelier is hung.

  9. Screw a hook onto your ceiling.

  10. Tie a knot or secure the wiring with a ziptie. connect the wire to a power source.
