How to Make a Cake Batter Martini

Looking for a drink that may be the perfect compliment to a birthday party, girls’ night out (or in) or to satisfy that sweet tooth? Skip cookies and cake with a light beer and go for the gusto by making a cake batter martini. You don’t need to drop lumps of gooey cake batter into the drink; the blend of the right alcohol will give you the feeling that you just drank your cake.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces (90 ml) of cake flavored vodka

  • 3 ounces (90 ml) of white/clear cream de cacao

  • 2 ounces (60 ml) of amaretto

  • 1 ounce (30 ml) of white chocolate liqueur

  • 2 ounces (60 ml) of heavy whipping cream

  • 1/2 cup of ice

  • martinis toppings (e.g. nonpareils/sprinkles)

Steps

  1. Prepare the martini glass rim with nonpareils. Dampen a paper towel with whipped cream or water and wet the martini glass rims. Dump the nonpareils onto a separate plate and dip the wet martini glass rim in the nonpareils so the sprinkles adhere to the glass.

  2. Mix your drink. Pour all alcohol into a cocktail mixer and be sure you can cap it with a lid and shake well.

    • Combine 3 ounces (90 ml) of cake flavored vodka with 3 ounces (90 ml) of white/clear cream de cacao, 2 ounces (60 ml) of amaretto and 1 ounce (30 ml) of white chocolate liqueur in the cocktail mixer. Add 2 ounces (60 ml) of heavy whipping cream.

    • Add 1/2 cup of ice to the cocktail mixer, secure the top and shake. Shake the drink for approximately 30 seconds so it is well mixed.

  3. Pour drink into nonpareil lined martini rimmed glasses. These drinks should be imbibed upon serving.

Tips

  • Another way to rim the glass is with melted white or milk chocolate. Simply melt chocolate chips in the microwave (in a glass bowl), stirring often. While the chocolate is still warm, dip glass rims and allow the chocolate to cool and set before pouring your drink.

  • Keep martini glasses in the freezer to serve with a frosted glass.
