How to Check Your Gmail Account with the Google Toolbar

To check your Gmail with the Google toolbar, you'll need to add a "Gmail" button to your toolbar. Scroll down to Step 1 to start learning how.

Steps

Adding the Gmail Button to Google Toolbar

1. Click on the "Options" icon (right end of the toolbar) to get a pull-down menu.
   
   
   
   


2. Click on .


3. Click on option when the window opens up.

5. Type in Search window and click on .


6. Search for this record (shown on image) and then click on to add it.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   • You may need to restart your browser.
   
   
   
   

Using the Gmail Button to Check Your Mail

1. Click on .


2. Enter your password for Gmail account when asked.
   
   
   
   • It will open your Gmail window.
   
   
   
   


3. Finished! Now you can check your mail using the new on Google toolbar.

Tips

• To remove the Gmail from your toolbar or change the description of the button:
