A Cat Bit Her Owner In Her Sleep To Save Her Family From A House Fire

The cat actually saved the life of the family’s other cat, too, the local fire department told BuzzFeed News.

"If they hadn’t been notified, it could have definitely been a different result."

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, and there are no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, he said.

In the meantime, the Clairmont family — and their hero cat — are currently staying at another residence.
