Shandess and Jason Griffin never considered not including their four dogs Zero, Holden, Arbor, and Navi (L-R) in their wedding.

Shandess, who owns a dog daycare center, told BuzzFeed Life that the couple's free time revolves around their pups, whether it's hiking with them or photographing them for her Instagram account.

In fact, two of those dogs brought Shandess and Jason together. She only responded to his message on a dating site because he said he wanted to take them on a walk with her.

"He was excellent with them immediately, he knew the breeds and everything," she said. "They loved him right away, so I said OK, he’s a keeper."

Shandess got her first dog Zero, a Samoyed, eight years ago. Holden, a Bernese Mountain Dog, came a few years later. Shandess and Jason started dating five years ago; she convinced him to adopt Navi, an Australian Shepherd mix, from her cousin, six months into their relationship. The first dog they got together was Arbor, another Bernese Mountain Dog.
