Sophia’s owner got permission to let her play at an indoor snow centre hours before she was due to be put down.
Two months ago, Alyson Paige found out that Sophia, her 6-year-old St Bernard, had bone cancer.
"I'd been searching for ideas to make the last time we've got with her really special," Paige told the BBC.

Paige said she cheekily sent an email to Chill Factore, an indoor ski centre in Manchester. Hours before Sophia was due to be put down, Paige was told she'd be allowed in to play.
