  • 16 ounces (500 ml) of boiling water
  • 10 ounces (300 ml) of ice cold vodka
  • 6 ounces (180 ml) of cold water

  6. Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 2 to 4 hours (about the same time to make regular Jello solid). Check on it by shaking the pan in the fridge slightly to see how much it shakes. If it appears to be liquidy, it's not ready.

Tips

  • If the Jello mixture has settled in, cut the orange halves into pieces for smaller and more shot pieces.

Warnings

  • Jello is not a vegan dessert. Gelatin is a protein produced by partial hydrolysis of collagen extracted from animal products.
  • Don't treat this as a snack. Be aware of how much you take. Jello shots contain alcohol and eating too many will make you drunk.
